How your application data is handled
This page explains what happens to the information you send when you apply for Mechanic / Technician – E-Scooters, E-Bikes & Electric Vehicles at Escooter Clinic. It is written to meet the information duty in Article 13 of the GDPR, which applies in Norway through personopplysningsloven.
Who is responsible
Escooter Clinic is the data controller: they decide why and how your application data is used, and they are who you contact about it.
Escooter Clinic has not published a separate privacy address on this form — use the contact details in their job advertisement or on their website.
What is collected
Your name, email address and — if you provide them — phone number, CV, cover letter and the answers you give to the questions on the form. Anything you write in a free-text field is collected as you wrote it, so avoid health data, union membership, political views and other special categories unless the role genuinely requires them.
We also record which link brought you to the form, the application date, the notice and AI choice presented, and the submitting IP address and user agent as evidence of that presentation and choice.
Why, and on what legal basis
Your data is used to assess and respond to your application. For an ordinary direct application, Escooter Clinic may rely on Article 6(1)(b), steps requested before a possible employment contract. Another basis may apply to a recruitment agency or particular role. Escooter Clinic is responsible for identifying the exact basis in its own notice below. The checkbox only confirms that information was presented; it is not consent to recruitment processing.
What you must provide
Fields marked required are necessary to submit an application through this form; without them, it cannot be sent. Optional fields can be left blank. Human-only review remains available where AI screening is offered.
Who sees it
The people at Escooter Clinic who work on this hire. Reqcore, the recruitment system this form runs on, stores the data on Escooter Clinic's behalf as a data processor and does not decide how it is used.
How long it is kept
Escooter Clinic has not set an automatic deletion period in this system. Ask them how long they keep applications — under the GDPR they may not keep your data longer than they need it.
Your rights
You can, at any time and free of charge, ask Escooter Clinic to:
- give you a copy of the data they hold about you (access),
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete (rectification),
- delete your application (erasure),
- pause the use of your data while a dispute is resolved (restriction),
- stop processing based on legitimate interest (objection), including any automated screening,
- receive the data you gave them in a machine-readable format (portability).
They must answer without undue delay, and normally within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled
Contact Escooter Clinic first. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), or to the supervisory authority in the EU/EEA country where you live or work.
Escooter Clinic's own notice
Escooter Clinic processes the information you submit to evaluate and respond to your application. Escooter Clinic must state its exact legal basis and retention criteria; contact it if those details are not provided here or in the job advertisement.
